Top Five Victorian Breweries to check out post lockdown.

Lockdown is finally over here in Victoria which can only mean one thing…time to hit the road and get exploring! And after months of dinning and drinking from home we can’t think of a better way to celebrate being able to travel regionally than doing a pub crawl across the state!

We are so lucky here to have so many incredible craft breweries in Victoria you really can’t go wrong, but we’ve picked 5 of our favourites to put on your list and maybe even build a weekend away around. So, grab a pen or paper, and jot these down!

Bright Brewery – Bright Brewery

This place is number one on our list and for good reason! Bright is known for its pristine alpine environment and the adventurous outdoor lifestyle that the high country provides. Filled with fun hiking and mountain biking trails, amazing farm produce and a lovely township with a bloody great brewery at its centre…what more could you need!?

St Andrews Beach Brewery – St Andrews

St Andrews Beach Brewery is set on an incredible 92-acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. What once was a world class horse training facility has now been turned into a brewery, taproom and farm that offers all the country and beach vibes of our dreams. Book yourself a booth and make you way through a huge assortment of craft beers that are brewed onsite! You won’t be disappointed.

Where to stay:

Not many campsites around this area that aren’t extremely expensive and far away. I would suggest getting an Airbnb or house on Riparide for the weekend – treat yo self!

Matilda Bay – Healesville

Matilda Bay is set in beautiful Healesville, only an hour out of Melbourne. Perfect for a weekend road trip, you can explore the cute main street and then settle in at Matilda Bay to enjoy a wood fired pizza and a beer or 4!

Our favourite thing about Matilda Bay (apart from everything), is that it is a 100% sustainable business and was officially certified as carbon neutral in September 2021.
