There are so many places nearby to explore. We drove from Milawa through to Myrtleford then onto Bright and Wandiligong. Jump in the car and see what road side gems you can find!

You really can’t go wrong when choosing where to eat or drink but our favourite is right in the middle of town! Bright brewery is a cozy and relaxing place to settle in for a beer or two! Sit by the fire and play uno while enjoying a pizza. What a combo!

Must see.

Situated just outside of Myrtleford you must visit the incredible Red Stag Farm. The 70 acre property is home to over 200 Deer, Emus, Goats and even Ostriches! Enjoy the alpine views whilst getting close and personal with the animals. The restaurant is delicious and worth a visit too!

Bright.

Bright is a small country town set in the beautiful Ovens Valley. Known for its incredible local produce and stunning alpine surrounds it’s the perfect place for a Winter escape.

Just over 3 hours from Melbourne and Filled with mountains, walks and an abundance of local produce! What more could you need!

If you’re like us and love a treasure hunt, Red Ramia is your kinda store! This place is filled to the brim with delights from China, India, Morocco and Japan. We could’ve spent hours here, its a definite must see!

Walks.

Grab a copy of the Walks and Trails guide from the info centre and head off on one of the many trails. From relaxing strolls along the river to short hill climbs, there is something for everyone. Huggins Lookout is a great walk and the view of Bright from above is stunning especially in Autumn.
